The direct question, Cook responded to was: "Last week was attended by you along with other technology leader at a meeting with the future president Donald Trump. How important is it for Apple to discuss with the governments?"

Cook writes that it is very important that governments can affect the Apple’s opportunities, both positive and negative. He points out that Apple’s are mainly engaged in lobbying for positive changes in key areas of the company, integrity and the environment.

He also believes that it rarely works that stand at the side and not be involved in the issues, whether you agree with the current decision-makers or not.
