Each year the språkutbildningsföretaget EF Education, the people who are best at English as a second language. 2016 won the swedes and we could brösta us up against the almost as good as the norwegians, the danes and finländarnat.
But this year, we have slipped down a couple of positions.
The country with the best English speakers in the year 2016 is the Netherlands, followed by Denmark, then Sweden, Norway and Finland. It says, among other things, that we swedes are good at using the English language with subtlety and with the appropriate language for different social situations. We are able to read advanced texts with ease and , we can negotiate a contract with a non-English speaking.
the Survey is based on results among 950 000 adults studying English at one of EF’s partner schools.
