Seven people have been arrested in Norrköping on a bet against the roughly organised crime.

Exactly what the suspicions are against the men and women who have been detained to the police not to go out with at the moment.

“we can tell you now is that it is a planned effort that we looked at over a longer period of time,” says Tommy Thorngren, press officer at police region East.

on Wednesday, the police has struck at several addresses in the norrköping region, and in total seven people have been arrested, said the Prosecutor’s office in a press release.

the Operation began in the morning and has been going on during the day, said Tommy Thorngren, press officer at police region East.

in Addition to the seven arrested men and women between the ages of 20 to 50 years, additional people have been taken in for questioning.

“We have retrieved a number of people that we are interested in in this case so it is a planned effort that is entirely based on our preliminary investigation,” says Jan Hofvenstam section chief at the police section for aktionsgruppsverksamhet in the press release.

– the Next step will be to interrogate the suspects that are arrested. In addition, we must analyse the material seized during today’s searches.

No further information about the suspicions, other than that bet is targeted towards the ‘serious organised crime’, the police did not leave in the present.

“the Prosecutor has taken the decision to wait to go out with more information as this is an ongoing effort, but it will get more information later,” says Tommy Thorngren, press officer at police region East.

– We will be clearer about what it applies to.

the Stake is a cooperation between the public Prosecution service, serious fraud office and the Police department, according to the press release.
