It will not come as a surprise that we Swedish are browsing increasingly on their mobile phones but the post – and telecom agency, PTS, has put figures on the phenomenon. On average, we consume four gigabytes of data per month, according to a recent report.
in Total, it went 295 000 terabytes of data over the Swedish mobile networks during the first half of 2016, which is an increase of 31 per cent compared with the same period last year.
the Increase mainly applies to mobile phones. For the first time mobile phones for a major part of the total data traffic than mobile broadband via, for example, routers or dongles, notes PTS.
Speaking to the mobilgeneration goes two-thirds of the total mobile traffic via 4G subscription. At the same time reduces the number of fixed telephone line and ip-telephony has begun to level out.
the Report is based on PTS’s own primary data collection which examines over 50 operators and other actors ‘ development. All comparisons relate to June 30, 2016 with the same day in 2015.
