– There have been a play at the school where the boys hit each other in the crotch. It should have gone out on that when you go into the hallway or anywhere so try another simply hit you in the groin, said John Norvell, principal of SSHL to the newspaper.
Norvell does not want to disclose details of what happened when the student was injured. “The Game” that led to the boy injured must already have existed in schools abroad.
The boy was taken to hospital should not have been seriously injured and the incident is not reported to the police.
This is not the first time a Swedish boarding school ended in trouble. Two years ago two students at Lundbergs school for negligent injury, after they burned another student with an iron. 2013 was also sentenced five former students at Sigtuna humanistic grammar school after they assaulted another student at the school.
Norvell mean, however, that the incident has nothing to bullying to do.
– Even I have to think such thoughts, and do it always. But I feel it’s not like it has something with some old systems to make or a boarding linked question, he says to Aftonbladet.
SSHL has about 600 pupils. Among other things, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Olof Palme were students at the school.
