We did not like about Apple’s Airpods. But when we got the chance to get acquainted with them after yesterday’s events we were impressed by their ability to remain safely in their ears. With smart and convenient features of both software and hardware side, we have to admit that Airpods feels like something of a bestseller.

Each Airpod have infrared sensors, so they know when they are in place in the ears. They also include an accelerometer that lets you double-dab any Airpod to launch Siri. They lack, unlike many other Bluetooth devices, traditional buttons. No on / off button, parkopplingsknapp or play / pause button is thus. Instead, you can choose, for example, increase the volume via a voice command to Siri if you do not want to fish up the phone to do this in the old-fashioned way. It all feels much clumsier than using a traditional volume control.
