Kiruna Suspect arrested in Germany – Västerbotten Courier

A man in his 30s has been arrested by German police in Frankfurt, reports SVT News Norrbotten. The man was arrested on Thursday in his absence on probable cause suspected of murdering a woman in their 30s, who was found dead in his apartment in Kiruna on Tuesday.

He was arrested by the German police yesterday and now underway work to hand him over to the Swedish police.

– by all accounts, he fled to Germany. We are working to get him moved to Sweden, said Lars-Ivar Johansson, reconnaissance leaders at the police.

How long the process will take, according to prosecutor Anna Bergstrom hard to know.

– it should go relatively quickly but it should still be considered by the German court and it may take a few days, she said.

What has emerged in the police investigation is unclear but the rubric, according to Lars -Ivar Johansson subject to change. According to Anna Bergstrom man had a relationship with the woman.
