Dad would save the son – disappeared in the water – Aftonbladet

A man was searched on Saturday after he disappeared in the water off Svanesund, Orust, after having been out skiing water skiing with his sons.

– Lifeboat, Coast Guard and a rescue helicopter from Gothenburg are plugged in and on the way, told Eva Nordstrom, information officer at the Naval and flyggräddningscentralen.

Later in the evening announced the police that the man had died.

Eva Nordstrom says it is a family, a father and two sons, who had been out skiing water skiing.

– the oldest of the sons ended up in the water and the father jumped in to help him, she said.

Both sons were rescued from the water and taken to hospital, along with their mother.

– But the father is missing still, said Eva Nordström at 18.00.

A large number of units brought in to search for the father, including Lifeboat, coast Guard, rescue and three helicopters were inserted during sökarbetet.
