Apple stops selling the Thunderbolt Display – 99mac

Apple announced that it will stop selling the Thunderbolt Display, but it will go to buy while stocks last.

Apple will stop selling # Thunderbolt Display, which was launched in September 2011, announced the company TechCrunch. A spokesperson for the company said:

– We terminated with Apple Thunderbolt Display. It will be available through Apple.com, Apple’s retail stores and authorized resellers as long as stocks last. There are several good options from third parties available to Mac users.

Apple’s statement is unusual, as the company usually tend to retire products in conjunction with a new launch. Rumors earlier this year indicated that Apple is preparing a new external display with 5K resolution and maybe a built-in graphics card. When or if such a product is launched, however, in the current situation is unknown.
