Apple in the meeting about podcasts – 99mac

In response to criticism of its handling of podcasts is Apple meeting with a number of podcast producers .

# iTunes has one of the largest collections of podcasting, and now, Apple has held a meeting with some leading podcast producers to answer questions and listen to criticism. This reports the New York Times, writes that the meeting took place last month in Cupertino.

Seven of the most popular podcast talk are invited to discuss their biggest complaint along with a number of Apple employees. The biggest problem is said to be that of iTunes missing opportunities to access data on the listeners, which is important to be able to generate revenue from podcasts are. Even the limited opportunities to share material from Itunes raised.

After the meeting, Apple’s iTunes chief Eddy Cue have met their employees to disktuera what emerged at the meeting. In a statement to the New York Times says Cue:

– We have more people than ever to focus on the podcast, including engineers, editors and programmers. Poddar has a special place for us at Apple.
