Save the Children raise fees – even millions – Aftonbladet

When the S-peak Veronica Palm is Save the Children’s new Chairman of the Board raised the fees. The Nomination Committee proposes the organization. But the new salaries will cost several million.

It was the beginning of April this year it was revealed that the Social Democrats’ former MP Veronica Palm proposed as new chairman Save the children. Along with the Palm was also suggested Cecilia Abrahamsson, currently chairman of the Social Democrats in Stockholm, the new vice president.

Compared with the Red cross

the new board remuneration, including pension provisions and social charges, will total cost the organization nearly SEK 2.8 million by 2018.

– We compared the salaries of the Red cross, because they are the aid organization that resembles us most, and put us in their fees. These salaries are needed for a large organization, says Monica Ekström.
