Reputation: Soon you can hide apps in iOS – 99mac

Code of metadata indicates that Apple’s bundled apps in iOS may soon go to hide if not used.

Soon, all iPhone users get the ability to hide the system apps that are not used (see Shares). It shows the new code as App Advice found in the metadata for the App Store.

All apps in the store has two new values, namely “ isFirstParty ” and “ isFirstPartyHideableApp . ” If the value of the latter would be listed as “ True “, users should be able to hide the app from the home screen. Technically, this could also apply to third-party apps, but unlike Apple’s own system applications these can be delete if not used.

Soon, therefore, the trick to hide all apps that do not used in a special folder to be unnecessary.
