In the so-called DDoS attack were the websites of all the major US banking companies charge. The incident received great attention and was investigated by the FBI.

First, since the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) raised the alarm about the vulnerability of the Armed Forces server was corrected it, reports the Daily News.

– We normally have good eye on our stuff. This mistake is about the human factor – we have a lot of people who carry out the operation. It is important to remember that this is not a vulnerability that can be exploited to get into the Armed Forces’ IT systems, said Dan Eriksson at the Swedish Armed Forces.

Now, a review Daily News has done that Swedish authorities can still be used for similar attacks.

Nearly 14,000 servers including universities and government agencies maladjustments and thus have the same vulnerability.

– People who have this kind of servers should review them. Denial is a serious problem. This kind of equipment is used extensively, says Robert Jonsson at MSB.
