Cracked mobile led to suspected terrorists – New Technology

Five suspected terrorists have been arrested in Britain. It was then US cyber experts managed to crack a mobile, connected to the “man in the hat.”

According to The Sun, five people have been arrested in Birmingham and Gatwick Airport. All are suspected of plotting terrorist acts in Birmingham.

In a mobile connected to the “man in the hat” or Mohamed Abrini – one of the people identified as being behind the terrorist attack at Brussels airport – are pictures of different places in Birmingham’s city center.

the Sun report that reconnaissance breakthrough came after police received help from US experts to crack dozen encrypted messages on mobile phones.

the monitoring shall, however, have begun already after the leader of the Paris attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud shot dead in a police raid. Also, he had pictures of Birmingham in the mobile.
