Bluff Mail addressed to Apple Customers – Metro

Iphone and Ipad users are targets in the latest in a series of global online fraud, reports The Guardian.

The scam emails and messages that appear to come from Apple is trying fraudsters lure users to provide their login information to cloud service iCloud, to get access to the personal information that many stores there.

in the messages stated that the account has been locked to protect the information and the user is prompted to verify your account by clicking on a link. The method is similar to that used in previous scattered scam e-mails with other alleged sender, where the fraudsters in the next step requires money.

– This is a particularly manipulative deception when it threatens to disable the right cloud service accounts – where many of us store our most dear and important documents, things we just can not risk losing, says Tom Neate at nätskyddssajten Get Safe Online to the Guardian.
