99mac testing bracelet woven nylon – 99mac

Apple’s special event last week offered not only on the iPhone SE and a new iPad Pro. Apple also took the opportunity to release some new variants of bracelets for the smart watch # Apple Watch. Secondly, they came before the leather and sporting the bracelets in new colors, as well as a black version of the Milanese loop. But Apple also introduced a new type of bracelets in woven nylon.

The model is also called NATO Band, and has its origins in the British Armed Forces who took out a durable and sustainable wristwatch to his soldiers . Natostraps has recently become very popular to a wider public, because they are durable and are available in many different colors. It is therefore not surprising that Apple chose to catch on to this trend with a series of bands of Apple Watch in seven different designs.

bands woven nylon cost 525 kronor each, located thus on the same price level as Apple’s sporting ribbons in fluoroelastomer. It is also probably just the users who do not want to invest in the more expensive bracelets on classic buckle or Milanese loop that is the primary target. According to Tim Cook replacing a third of Apple Watch-owners regularly bracelets, and surely they want to see that number increase even more.

For my own part, I have been driving in a white sports tape since I bought my watch last year, and the new nylon straps feels like a good time to create some variety around the wrist. In my opinion, Apple too little credit for its range of bracelets. They may cost more than alternative band from third parties, but the quality is Apple really succeeded – even better than many manufacturers who have been in the watch business for long.

The choice fell on a nylon strap in the color royal blue, and it comes in the same type of flat oblong box that previously made the bracelets. To pack up and change is not a problem, just detach the old bracelet using the little button and press the new strap in place.

On one side of the bracelet is a pressure that indicates the type of bracelets and the size of the Apple Watch which it is intended. The text makes itself probably the best on the inside, but if you attach the bracelet in the wrong direction ports it out.

My Apple Watch is 38 millimeter model, partly because I have pretty slender arms but also because I prefer a small bell as possible. Unlike sports such bands supplied nylon band only in two, and there is no longer variant of the part with holes in. There is no practical problem, then the bracelet fits around my wrist without any problems. But I had personally preferred that the bracelet was one or two centimeters longer, just because it had seen a little better.

I really liked Apple’s sporting ribbons in fluoroelastomer, and do not know the secret ingredient they used to have bands that feel comfortable against the skin and not at all plastiga. In comparison, yet these nylon straps refreshingly comfortable. Sports band has the ability to stick to the skin when sweating, or in warmer weather when the skin is expanded. After a day with nylon band, it feels even more comfortable and provide a nice tygkänsla. It is really great around the wrist.

As far as I can judge is also the nylon what it promises. It does not feel like a risk that the bracelet be torn easily. In addition, the feeling of varying the appearance around the wrist underestimated. If Apple continues to release new colors and varieties, I probably have not bought my last bracelet for Apple Watch. Variety is the spice of course, as you know.
