Microsoft Hololens goes wireless – heavy price tag for dev kits – FZ

At an event held recently in Tel Aviv (via The Verge), revealed Microsoft’s Bruce Harris to the company augmentet reality gadget Hololens will be completely wireless. The headset will instead be connected via wifi or blutooth.

The battery life will be about 5.5 hours at “normal” use. For constant use, it teaches is 2.5 hours.

Harris also told us that the experience will be close to that of having a 15-inch screen about 60 centimeters from your face.

Developer kits will be sent out later this year, with juicy price tag is $ 3000 (about 26 000)
