IPhone gets OLED displays from LG and Samsung – 99mac

Apple plans to introduce OLED screens for Iphone, and two of its competitors, to stand for masstilverkningen of components.

Recently reported 99mac that Apple is developing a new display technology based on OLED, which could provide less energy in future iPhone models. Now Reuters reports that the two rival mobile manufacturers LG and Samsung will be responsible for the manufacturing of Apple’s OLED screens.

Both the LG Display and Samsung Electronics will reportedly be mass produce and supply OLED displays Apple to use the # Iphone. Businesses are close to an agreement and the total will be over 100 billion invested in building the capacity for mass production of displays for the next two or three years. Apple is expected to contribute a part of the investment.
