Apple Music

In June last year, Apple launched its new music streaming service Apple Music and gave everybody three months free membership.

In October, the Apple to 6.5 million users had retained their subscriptions and pay for them. In November, then released the Apple Music app for Android.

Now Apple Music crossed 10 million subscribers, reports the Financial Times.

It is half as many as Spotify, which has taken the Swedish company eight years to achieve.

Unlike from Spotify, which has 55 million non-paying users can listen virtually unhindered but with advertising and then, Apple has music so far, only one radio channel open to the public, while the rest require a subscription.
