Apple for the night mode in iOS 9.3 – 99mac

In the latest beta version of Apple’s mobile operating system is a special night mode to make the screens nicer to look at at night.

In Apple’s first beta version of IOS 9.3 is a lot of new features and one of the more interesting is the Night Shift, a special night mode to make the display on iOS devices more enjoyable to be considered during the evening.

Night Shift is designed to reduce the amount of blue light that monitor produce in the evenings. According to Apple, several studies have shown that such lighting can affect sleep negatively, and many users have the habit of reading on their iPad or iPhone before falling asleep.

When the Night Shift is enabled using IOS the internal clock, and location information to determine when the sun goes down. The color scheme of the screen shifts automatically to show a warmer part of the color spectrum. This will hopefully make the evening more enjoyable reading and the subsequent sleep more harmonious. The monitor returns to normal coloration in the morning.

The Night Shift requires a 64-bit processor, meaning it only available on IOS devices with A7 processor or later. That means among other things the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C will not.
