Microsoft announces powerful Land Book – Gamereactor Sweden

Microsoft has just announced something called the Land Book, a nifty and surprisingly powerful (although all GPU details have not been revealed yet) laptop that beats most other fingers and is a clear contender for the MacBook Pro.

This is Microsoft’s first own laptop, and it has a removable keyboard if you prefer to use the device as a tablet. It is very slim considering the content and weighing a mere 726 grams and is just 7.3 millimeters thick. The screen size is 13.5 inches and has six million pixels (a pixel density of 267 PPI).

Inside the hood we find the latest Intel Core processor and a graphics card from Nvidia (does not apply to the cheapest models). The base model is decently equipped already it has 8 gigabytes of RAM, and a price tag of $ 1,500, and then grows price tag in line with performance:

128 GB 6th Generation Intel Core i5 with 8GB of RAM $ 1,499 ERP
256GB 6th Generation Intel Core i5 with 8GB of RAM $ 1,699 ERP
256GB 6th Generation Intel Core i5 with 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processor $ 1,899 ERP
256GB 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processor $ 2,099 ERP
512 GB 6th Generation Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processor $ 2,699 ERP

It is also worth mentioning the battery life. Microsoft promises 12 hours on one charge, and the computer can of course also stream the Xbox One games. Here is a video that shows off this beast.
