Here are Imac 21 “with 4k screen – big brother gets new processor and better graphics – MacWorld

Today Apple updated all iMac models. The main difference lies in the model with screen of 21 inches that will now have a Retina display with 4K resolution, or 4096 x 2304 pixels. The models with a 27-inch display keeps its resolution of 5k or 5120 x 2880 pixels. The screens now have the same pixel density, 217 ppi (pixels per inch).

Apple also writes that the new displays have been even greater color gamut and can now show 25 percent more colors.

> The large model with 27-inch display is also equipped with processors from Intel’s new Skylake-series and the new graphics card from AMD, it’s about the Radeon R9 M380 for the simplest model up to the Radeon R9 M395X optional in the worst no. All models have two gigabytes of graphics memory.

The new 21-inch models are instead Intel processors in the previous Broadwell series. They also do not have separate graphics without relying on the available built-in processor, that is, Intel Iris 6000 in the simplest and Iris 6200 in the two more equipped versions.

All models Now two Thunderbolt 2 ports and storage options have been updated, while also released new models of the Apple Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad second

Two models of Imac 21 “without retina display is left, retina model starting at 16,495 crowns without option. It then moves on a computer with a 3.1 GHz Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive and standard Iris 6200 graphics. 27 “models start at 19,995 crowns and goes up to 24,995 crowns without option. All come with 8 GB of RAM and the same screen. The processor is slightly different in the more expensive model, but the big difference is in the graphics card and the most expensive comes with 2 TB fusion drive.

Also new is that it is cheaper to upgrade to a fusion drive with 1 TB of storage. That’s because Apple reduced the amount of flash storage they use, writes Ars Technica. When the former models were equipped with 128 GB of fast flash storage, the new 24GB only. It is probably enough for the operating system and frequently used applications, but it will take less before the computer hit the ceiling and must start using your hard drive for things you do not frequently use. Fusion Drive with 2TB still have 128 GB of flash.
