In IOS 9, Apple has updated the accompanying Notes app with new features, but for people who want something else, there is now an additional option in the App Store. Two years ago, Google released Keep app for Android and now also to IOS. It’s a free app to save notes which combines Apple’s notes and reminders in one.

The notes are organized by labels in strong colors in an interface reminiscent of Post-It- patches. Keep can remind the user of a note at a specific time or place, such as a shopping list when you are about to enter the store.
