During MinEcon the weekend was announced a new version of Minecraft. The new version will, according to Mojang to be exclusive for Windows 10. At the same time announces that the beta will launch on 29 July and all those who already have a PC version of Minecraft will get access to the beta for free, which in round figures ports about 20 million players.
The new version of Minecraft will not replace the old PC version, but will be developed next. The reason to choose to make a new version of the game is about the desire to take advantage of all the features of the new Windows 10 will be able to offer. It announces that there will be features of the Pocket Edition of Windows 10 Edition, which is in line with to be able to play together with other players who have Pocket Edition.
