IPod touch gets 64-bit processor – 99mac

iPod family can now be updated in the days according to the latest rumors. In addition to new colors, iPod Touch, get a 64-bit processor.

Recently, Apple released a new version of iTunes that includes the service Apple Music. The program found images of music players iPod in new colors. Kalenderappen the pictures show “Tuesday 14″ which could mean that the new models presented already on 14 July.

The French site again also report that the devices will be updated this week and think that while the iPod Nano and Shuffle only receive minor updates will Ipod Touch to get new hardware.

Ipod Touch switch from N78 til N102 and again speculates that the device can be updated to a 64-bit processor. In the current model is an A5 processor which launched along with the iPad 2 is 2011, which is also used for the iPhone 4S, iPad Mini and the current model of Apple TV.
