Apple behind the lion’s share of mobile phone manufacturers’ profits – Business World

In the first quarter, Apple was behind 92 percent of the total operating profit of the world’s eight major mobile phone manufacturers.

It says the Wall Street Journal, referring to a report by Canaccord Genuity. During the same period in 2014 the figure was 65 percent.

The Samsung was the same figure 15 percent, this is where some of the eight manufacturers were negative.

Apple shows a similar trend in the PC sales where a low percentage of the total number of units sold still gives a clear lead in wins. In 2014 managed to Apple with a market share of six percent earn about half of the entire PC industry profits.
