Taylor Swift boot to Apple: “Is unfair” – Expressen

Taylor Swift has got Apple to change its new streaming service.

After a boot from the artist so the company has made of its entire payment policy.

– Three months is a long time to go unpaid, and it is unfair to ask someone to work for no one Compensation, says Taylor Swift according to BBC Entertainment.

Taylor Swift dislike when artists do not get paid probably have not escaped anyone. In November, she pulled back all their albums from Spotify and think that artists should be able to monetize their music.

Now, directs her criticism of Apple’s new streaming service and refuse to let them publish her latest album. The reason is the three-month free trial period that the service provides.

– I think it is shocking, disappointing, and quite unlike the historically progressive and generous companies, says Swift according to BBC Entertainment.

She continues:

– We do not ask you about free iPhone. So ask us not to provide you with our music without compensation.

Criticism from Swift has now made that Apple slopes. Streaming Service Officer Eddy Cue now reveals that the artists will get paid, even during the free trial period offered. And they change their payment policy.

– We have never seen it that we did not pay them. We had originally negotiated these deals based on paying them higher compensation current to compensate for this short time, said Cue.

Now, Apple will pay the performers during the three probationary months, and also maintain the high compensation paid regularly.
