Stryper contribution to strupforskning – Helsingborgs Dagblad

Since 2012, doctor received 17.5 million in research grants from the Swedish Research Council, but now throttled payments.

– He has conducted research without permission and in publications, it has systematically been inaccuracies, while concealed facts. Something in everyday speech might call cheating, says Director General Sven Stafström.

Other in the same research team at the Karolinska Institute, contributions and Research Council are considering stopping even those payments.

To research grants stop is extremely unusual.

– During my period as Director General has never happened. The vast majority of all research in Sweden is conducted in a proper and ethical way, but there are exceptions, unfortunately, says Sven Stafström.
