Stephen Elop leaving Microsoft – IDG.se

Stephen Elop came with Microsoft when the company bought the mobile manufacturer Nokia for just over a year ago. After the acquisition, Elop served as head of Microsoft’s hardware and services where the phones included.

When to Elop ends organizes Microsoft and allows operating manager Terry Myerson take over a new division that will work with both Windows and hardware.

The new department will contain all Microsoft hardware except the phones contain the Surface, HoloLens, Lumia, Surface Hub, and Xbox.
