Sources: Apple tries to lower the Spotify – Aftonbladet

Apple trying to kill Spotify through new business practices.

After tidals so far unsuccessful efforts, it is now Apple’s turn to give on Spotify.

According to several sources of The Verge see the US Department of Justice is now closer to Apple’s business practices in connection with their upcoming music streaming service Beats Music.

Apple should have pushed the world’s largest record company to get Spotify and similar music to end up with the Subscription is free for users and funded by advertising. Spotify currently has 60 million users, of which 45 million use the service for free with advertising.

To kill free subscriptions could give Apple an excellent position to try to take over a large part of the users before their launch as expected be in June.
