Västtrafik continue to invest in Internet aboard the train. The next few years, more than half of its trains equipped with free wifi for commuters. The expansion will take place gradually until the 2018th
In 2014, a pilot project was conducted in three trains on Kinnekullebanan successfully. In total, the 56 trains will now be equipped with free wifi. The expansion begins in the fall.

Internet in public transport is both demanded and appreciated. Since March there are free surfing at all Västtrafiks travel center. Even on line 100 buses between Gothenburg and Borås surf travelers for free Västtrafiks network.
