Stockholm City CIO Anette Holm ends – IDG.se

The staff in Stockholm City Hall was informed cio-booty yesterday afternoon.

Anette Holm writes in an email to employees that she signed a deal with the mayor to directly submit their assignment.

City Executive Office press office confirms Anette Holm stopped and she in a few weeks replaced by Ann Hellenius, today responsible for the digitization issues in the municipal education authority.

The post of the city’s CIO is far from a partisan job. But Anette Holm was also for a few years in the late 90′s Deputy Mayor for the moderate Finance Commissioner Carl Cederschiöld.

Anette Holm most known as the main architect of common IT services, GSIT, the very large scale cyber-bet in which the city after a giant procurement including outsourced all of its PC workstations to Volvo IT. The project covered 48 departments and companies, 45,000 computers and over 130 000 users.

Anette started as Stockholm cio 2008. The year after she topped Computer Sweden listings of Sweden’s most powerful IT Women of Science. 2011 took Anette Holm also place in the government digitaliseringsråd.
