According to RTS, the results of the technical studies have been ten of F5 plan must now be scrapped. But the data varies in the media.

Location is critical, but no more than that which was described during the campaign for the Gripen last year, explained while Maurer .

An upgrade of 32 of the country’s second fighter aircraft model – F18 plan – planned for the next few years. According to the Minister may then continue to fly until 2030 or 2035th

But for F5 plan is the direction that they will be phased out from 2016 or later. But no decision has been taken.

Now, Ueli Maurer to:

– I think that Gripen is still an object on the radar, as well as perhaps the Rafale, and maybe a plane from the United States. But the Eurofighter is no longer a favorite.

Reportedly, Switzerland today 54 pieces F5 plan. The original number was 110 pieces.
