Activists were cut off by police – Västerbotten Courier

News A dozen activists stopped the Saturday work on the planned nuclear area in Pyhäjoki, reports the Finnish News Agency.

Three of the activists chained themselves to machines and had to be cut off by police before they were removed. The area is currently underway including road construction.

The nuclear power plant is planned on a promontory stretching out against Sweden – only about 22 mil from Umeå and 15 mil from Skellefteå.
