Northern lights over Uråsa in the night – Swedish Radio

A powerful solar storm strikes the earth right now and give us the Northern Lights. Intense was the night went on. Asa Sune Fors Wallin in Morganton and husband Truls photographed phenomenon!

” Over Älmhult was a spectacle night that went !! I looked in different directions and at first it was a “milky, smoky ‘green when I looked väserut inside my house.

Suddenly, many whitish broad rays on line from the ground and beams extending mentally high up in the sky. It was as if someone had many of the most powerful headlights of the slope and all the rays directed upward toward the sky.

After a minute it becomes foggy smoky and trödtopparna on our land will be “embedded” in this “fog”. Then the drama really spectacular. Eastwards from our house, there are lots of rays from the bottom up, and the spreading white bright light but it switches over in a wonderfully sharp blue !! Really awesome !!! “
