With an extended lexicon of 130 000 words, the error rate has been reduced by up to 50 percent, according to Nuance. Among other things, many physical units and names of medications have been added.
Nuance is also launching a dictation software designed specifically for the field pathology.
Nuance system of health care is available in 22 languages. International supplier of dictation systems for the care of the system is Dolbey Fusion Suite, and now M Modal.
On the Swedish market is also Finnish Mawell software MedSpeech, originally developed by Swedish Euromed Networks bought by Mawell 2011.
