Ikea is bigger than Zlatan – several million – Expressen

Ikea’s new commercial for its catalog has already found Ibrahimovic popular volvo movie with several million views.

Ikea has released a commercial for the new catalog which is a parody of Apple’s advertising, and where the catalog is described as a “book book”. The film is fast becoming a nätsuccé and shared widely on social media, writes TT.

In just a few days, it has been shown about eight million times on Youtube. By comparison, that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s acclaimed commercial for Volvo that came in January have not yet reached up to five million views, according to TT.

Ikea film a hit with people not surprising Eva Ossiansson, trademark PhD at the School of Gothenburg.

– It’s fun and different. You share the things that evoke emotion, things that cause us to be happy, she said to TT.

Eva Ossiansson says it is common for companies to try to come up with advertising that gets talked about in social media.

– We see that companies have come to work with a greater mix of media. Parallel to that is released, for example, a catalog or a product, it also seeks to obtain such a talking point that spread further, she said to TT.
