Apple apologizes for glitch with the update of all Iphones. – Aftonbladet

Apple apologizes for glitch with the update of all Iphones.

New error in the update forced the company to withdraw it.

– We working around the clock to bring out a new update within the next few days, said a spokesperson at Apple.

It would be a common bug fixing after a recent released new version of the IOS operating system became a nightmare for Apple.

The update knocked out the mobile features of the new top models of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well as the fingerprint reader. In addition, problems were reported by users with older models of the iPhone and iPad.

Apple withdrew the update after a few hours and now ask for apology.

– We apologize for the problems this has led to the users, it is said in an official statement.

A new update, 8.0.2 is going on within the next few days.

Swedes who have Iphones and Ipads should not have suffered any major problems. And those who managed to install 8.0.1 before it was withdrawn can probably wait for the next update and install it when it comes.

Extract by double-clicking

Those who for some reason wants you back one step in all cases, do so by following these steps:

To switch to an earlier version of the operating system IOS, you need the computer as iPhone or iPad syncs with.

You will also need a file with the version of the operating system you want to change to.

Apple today has just posted links to files belonging to the two new iPhone models worst affected by the errors in the update 8.0.1 .

But, the necessary files are available for download for free via the Internet, for example:

http://www.ipswdownloader.com/download-iphone-ipsw-files.php

Once you have downloaded the file for your iOS device to your computer, unzip it by double clicking it.

Then, connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer and inside iTunes, go to the Summary page and do a manual backup of the device. Either to iCloud or to your computer.

Update Process

When it is finished, hold down the alt key on a Mac or Ctrl on a Windows PC, and click Check for Update.

Instead of looking now opens the regular “open window” and then scroll to the location where your unzipped downloaded file (ending in .ispw) is located and select it.

Now start the update process as if you had downloaded from the Internet directly.

Reply OK to the questions and let the update go through. After rebooting, your phone will be back on iOS 8.0.

To get back your content you will need to then choose to install from the backup and select the last backup.
